Timothy Mahoney is a Minnesota filmmaker with over 20 years of experience at the helm of a media production company, producing award-winning television commercials and videos for regional and national companies. A natural storyteller with a passion for film, Mahoney created the film production company. Thinking Man Films, to explore the world we live in and encourage people to question the answers we have been told about our culture, science, history and religion. His insatiable curiosity led him and his film crew on a journey across the world to seek answers to the questions many of us ponder but don’t know where to find explanations. Mahoney wrote, directed and produced “Patterns of Evidence: Exodus”, his first documentary feature film, inviting viewers to explore the 3,500 year old mystery behind the incredible Biblical story of the Exodus. Twelve years of scientific investigation into the archeological truths behind the Bible’s miraculous account has resulted in “Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus” becoming one of the most comprehensive and astounding documentaries of our time. Traditional views of history are challenged as the evidence is allowed to speak for itself in surprising ways, leaving the audience to decide if the Exodus is factual truth or myth. Timothy Mahoney is a native of Minnesota and an avid out-doorsman. He and his wife, Jill, have been married for 35 years. They have four married children and four grandchildren.
