Jeffrey Matthews is the George F. Jewett Distinguished Professor in the School of Business and Leadership at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. He has a B.S. in Business Administration & Finance from Northern Arizona University. He also received an MBA and MA (History) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and his Ph.D. in American History from the University of Kentucky. Most recently, Dr. Matthews completed a biography of General Colin Powell, who served as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (under Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton) and as Secretary of State (under President George W. Bush). Colin Powell: Imperfect Patriot is published by the University of Notre Dame Press (January 2019). Timothy Mahoney is a Minnesota filmmaker with over 20 years of experience at the helm of a media production company, producing award-winning television commercials and videos for regional and national companies. A natural storyteller with a passion for film, Mahoney created the film production company. Thinking Man Films, to explore the world we live in and encourage people to question the answers we have been told about our culture, science, history and religion. His insatiable curiosity led him and his film crew on a journey across the world to seek answers to the questions many of us ponder but don’t know where to find explanations. Mahoney wrote, directed and produced “Patterns of Evidence: Exodus”, his first documentary feature film, inviting viewers to explore the 3,500 year old mystery behind the incredible Biblical story of the Exodus. Twelve years of scientific investigation into the archeological truths behind the Bible’s miraculous account has resulted in “Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus” becoming one of the most comprehensive and astounding documentaries of our time.
