George Barna has filled executive roles in politics, marketing, advertising, media development, research and ministry. He founded the Barna Research Group in 1984 (now The Barna Group) and helped it become a leading marketing research firm focused on the intersection of faith and culture before selling it in 2009. Through the Barna Group, George has served several hundred parachurch ministries, thousands of Christian churches, and many other non-profit and for-profit organizations as well as the U.S. military. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the American Culture and Faith Institute (a division of United in Purpose), and is President of Metaformation, a faith development organization. Barna has written more than 50 books, mostly addressing cultural trends, leadership, spiritual development, and church dynamics. They include New York Times bestsellers and several award-winning books. His works have been translated into more than a dozen foreign languages. He has sold more books based on survey research related to matters of faith than any author in American history. His work is frequently cited as an authoritative source by the media. Barna has been hailed as “the most quoted person in the Christian Church today” and has been named by various media as one of the nation’s most influential Christian leaders. After attending high school and college together, George and his wife Nancy married in 1978. They have three adopted daughters and one grandchild, live on the central California coast, and attend Mission Church in Ventura. He enjoys reading, music, rooting for the Yankees and Lakers, and relaxing on the beach.

Bunni has co-founded and grown two successful small businesses with her husband Tim. In 2015 she founded a third business, Bunni Pounds & Associates (BP&A), a company whose mission is to advance conservative candidates and officeholders. In just over two years, she grew BP&A into a half million dollar business with nine employees serving 31 clients at the federal, state, and county level. Pounds said, "As a business executive, I know how to balance budgets, meet payroll, build effective teams, and work with the people across this district to get real results. I also know the effects of burdensome taxation and regulation and will work every day to fight the heavy hand of government.” At the age of 29, Bunni enrolled in an American government class at Dallas Baptist University. After three and a half years of night school she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and was immediately hired to serve as Congressman Jeb Hensarling’s campaign manager. In that capacity, she traveled the district for over eight years, building deep relationships with the people of Congressional District 5. Bunni and her best friend, Tim, have been married for 21 years and have two adult sons, Israel (married to Teodora) and Ben. After accepting Christ at the age of 13, Bunni has been active in Christian ministry by teaching the Bible, leading worship, and facilitating missions around the world, primarily focused in the former communist nation of Romania. She is a published author of two Bible studies and a worship songwriter. Bunni has traveled to Israel and been a spokesman within the Christian Pro-Israel community, working to make sure the bond between Israel and America stays strong.
