Tom Gilson is the Senior Editor and Ministry Coordinator for the top conservative daily online news and insight website The Stream, and for years he’s interacted with those of differing viewpoints on his blog, Thinking Christian. A 36-year veteran of ministry leadership with Cru, BreakPoint and Ratio Christi, Gilson holds a Master’s degree in organizational psychology. He’s the author of Critical Conversations: A Christian Parents’ Guide to Discussing Homosexuality with Teens, as well as more than 150 articles found in publications such as Discipleship Journal, Touchstone Magazine and Salvo. He also served as the lead editor for True Reason: Confronting the Irrationality of the New Atheism. Gilson speaks regularly on topics relating to faith to national conference audiences. Jeff Nene has worked in ministry and non-profits for over 35 years, working at Convoy of Hope since 2002 in various media and communication roles. He is currently the National Spokesperson and Special Assistant to the President. Convoy of Hope is an international humanitarian relief organization. Prior to coming to Convoy of Hope, Jeff served as the General Manager of Media Ministries for the General Council of the Assemblies of God, Director of Television Ministries for Willie George Ministries, and Network Operations Manager for the LeSEA Broadcasting Network. Prior to that Jeff served as Youth Pastor for Calvary Temple in Ft. Wayne, IN. Jeff grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA and has also lived in Indiana, Ohio and Oklahoma. He has lived in the Springfield, Missouri area for the last 24 years. He currently lives in Nixa, MO with his wife Lisa. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
