Elected statewide three times by the people of Alabama, Alabama Supreme Court Justice Glenn Murdock has been a strong voice for traditional values and the rule of law on Alabama's appellate courts for 17 years. He speaks nationally on religious liberty and the call of Christians to government and politics. Among other things, he has spoken twice to the National Day of Prayer observance in Washington D.C., delivering the keynote Judicial address in 2016. In January, Justice Murdock resigned from the bench to explore other professional and public service opportunities, including a possible run for the U.S. Senate in 2020. A graduate of the University of Virginia Law School, Murdock’s pre-bench practice emphasized commercial, constitutional and election law. He also served six years as in-house counsel to a Fortune 500 company. As an undergraduate at the University of Alabama, Murdock was elected Student Government Vice President and graduated summa cum laude in Political Science and Economics. Glenn and his wife Margaret have been married for 39 years. They have three children, three grandchildren and a fourth grandchild due any day now.
