Renod Bejjani is the founder and President of iHOPE Ministries a non-profit ministry that emboldens “everyday Christians” to share their faith with Muslims. Since 2011, iHOPE has empowered over 20,000 Christians with the courage, confidence and know-how to cross religious boundaries and extend God’s transformative love to Muslims. As a child, Renod endured intense persecution as a Christian raised in Islamic countries. He spent decades filled with anger at God and hatred toward Muslims. Today, he’s serving the God he once denied, extending God’s transforming love to the very people he once hated. Renod is the author of “Muslims: 5 Biblical Essentials,” a primer for Christians who are curious or concerned about Muslims, and “The Way to Paradise,” a groundbreaking Bible study tailored for Muslim seekers. Her work Black Faces, Black Interests has won three national awards and her The New White Nationalism in America was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. Her book Be the People: A Call to Reclaim America’s Faith and Promise has been re-released (2021) with a new introduction and audio version. Swain is a former professor of political science at Princeton and Vanderbilt Universities and a professor of law at Vanderbilt Law School. She was a Nashville mayoral candidate in 2018/2019. Swain's opinion pieces have been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal, among others. She holds a Ph. D from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
