Connie Hutchinson is the Director of Special Needs at the First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton, CA. She has spoken at conferences and colleges nationwide as an advocate for people with disabilities. Connie has traveled in Ghana, Romania, China and Morocco to educate parents, educators, church leaders and government officials on the value of all people- with or without disabilities. For ten years Connie directed a Royal Family Kids Camp for abused children in the foster care system ages 7-11, and currently directs a summer teen camp for teens in the foster care system. Connie and her husband, Mike, have been married for forty three years and live in Placentia, California. They have three grown children and six grandchildren. Connie considers the lessons learned from her thirty-nine-year old daughter Julie, who has Down Syndrome, to be the most valuable training for her work in the disability area.

Jeff Kemp’s personal story includes a persevering journey in the face of long odds during an eleven-year career in the NFL. He was a successful back-up and starting quarterback for the Rams, Forty-Niners, Seahawks and Eagles. Jeff and his father, former vice-presidential candidate and H.U.D. Secretary Jack Kemp, were the first of only five father-son NFL quarterback combos. Jeff’s free agent story, ups and downs, and history facing blitzes both on and off the field provide him with a great breadth of experience from which to draw insights and illustrations and to keep audiences both riveted and engaged. Jeff holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. After his football career ended in 1992, Jeff dedicated himself to public service, and founded Stronger Families in the Pacific Northwest, which he led for eighteen years. His team has fostered collaboration among many groups to support families and coach healthy relationships, particularly for military, police, firefighter, and low income couples. Today, as a Vice President and Homebuilder Catalyst, he plays a leadership-multiplying role with the national family-strengthening organization, Family Life. He has spoken to businesses and organizations for over 20 years, with over 1000 presentations.
