Jalil Dawood, a former refugee himself, founded World Refugee Care in 2014 to model Jesus' love to immigrants and refugees. World Refugee Care Executive Director Jalil Dawood, has a bachelor degree from the University of Texas at Dallas with a double major in social studies and business. Randy Broberg is A Lay Pastor at Maranatha Chapel, a Calvary Chapel Congregation located in San Diego, California, with more than 7,000 in weekly attendance. At Maranatha, Randy has served as an instructor in the School of Ministry, as a professor in the Maranatha Bible College, as a member of the elder and deacon board and as a lay pastor. Prior to Christian ministry, Randy was an attorney with more than 25 years of experience advising corporations and negotiating agreements relating to their intellectual property and technology. Randy earned his JD in 1989 from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was a Senior Editor of the Virginia Journal of Law and Politics. In 1983, Randy received his BA in both History and Classics from Stanford University. At Stanford, Randy was inducted into the academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa and served The Stanford Daily as a news reporter, a weekly bylined op/ed columnist and as a member of the newspaper’s Editorial Board. Randy also attended the American School of Classical Studies, in Athens, Greece and the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome, Italy. Randy spent the summer of 1986 in Degeberga, Sweden as a farm hand and as a shepherd of sheep and goats.
