Thomas James Morstead (born March 8, 1986) is an American football punter and kickoff specialist for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Saints in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at SMU. He and his wife Lauren have three children and live near New Orleans. Hoping to inspire other young children to make the right choices based on their own convictions, Thomas shared defining moments with series author Sean Jensen, a former NFL reporter.
