Tuesday, July 10, 2018
On Point of View today our guests are, JJ Jasper, John Maxwell, and Rod Dreher. JJ Jasper tells us about his book, "Losing Cooper: Finding Hope to Grieve Well." The book chronicles the Jasper family's journey through darkness, but offers real hope to anyone experiencing trouble, trials, or tragedy. It deals with shock, loss, and grief from a Biblical perspective. Next we welcome #1 New York Times bestselling author, coach, and speaker, John Maxwell. His book, "Learning from the Giants: Life and Leadership Lessons from the Bible (Giants of the Bible)," draws on fifty years of studying the Bible to share the stories of Elijah, Elisha, Job, Jacob, Deborah, Isaiah, Jonah, Joshua and Daniel and how they can help us today. Finally we hear from author, Rod Dreher. He discusses his book, "The Benedict Option: A Strategy for Christians in a Post-Christian Nation." In it he calls on American Christians to prepare for the coming Dark Age by embracing an ancient Christian way of life.
