Demian Brady is the Vice President of Research for the National Taxpayers Union Foundation (NTUF). He runs NTUF's Taxpayers' Budget Office and produces analyses and commentaries on fiscal issues, including NTUF's annual Who Pays Taxes and Tax Complexity studies. Demian's research has been cited in prominent publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Washington Times. Additionally, he has written extensively on budget and IRS reform for both NTU and NTUF. Demian's significant contributions include an influential op-ed that inspired legislation, now known as the NO CORRUPTION Act, to close a loophole that has allowed members of Congress to receive taxpayer-funded pensions even after being convicted of crimes. He earned an M.A. in Political Science from American University and a B.A. in Russian Area Studies from Bowling Green State University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. With roots in both Connecticut and Ohio, Demian currently resides with his family in Alexandria, Virginia.
