Vance Ginn, Ph.D., is the director of the Center for Economic Prosperity and a senior economist at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, one of the nation’s premier free-market think tanks. Dr. Ginn is a leading free-market economist with research to let people prosper in their unique way by removing government barriers in Texas, D.C., and beyond. He is a first-generation college graduate and earned his Ph.D. in economics from Texas Tech University. A former university lecturer, his passion for teaching carries through in his work to help people understand how government policies affect them. He has appeared in numerous major media outlets, and published papers in top-ranked academic journals, public policy research on critical issues, commentaries in major media outlets, and has scholarly works in progress. While at the Foundation, Dr. Ginn has led the charge in conducting in-depth, dynamic studies and other research on the benefits of restraining government spending, ending unnecessary taxes, and eliminating government barriers to prosperity. Dr. Ginn and his family reside in Round Rock, Texas.

He earned a B.Th. from Winnipeg Bible College, a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, a M.A. in Philosophy from Loyola University, and an honorary LL.D. from the Simon Greenleaf School of Law. A clear expositor of the Bible, he is the featured speaker on three radio programs that are heard on more than 1,000 outlets in the United States and around the world: Running to Win—a daily Bible-teaching broadcast; Moody Church Hour—The Moody Church’s Sunday morning worship service; Songs in the Night—an evening program that’s been airing since 1943.
