A three-time Emmy Award winner, best-selling author, and former Harvard University instructor, Dr. Michael Guillen is known and loved by millions as the ABC News Science Editor, a post he filled for fourteen years (1988-2002). In that capacity, he appeared regularly on Good Morning America, 20/20, Nightline and World News Tonight. He is host of “Where Did It Come From?,” a popular, weekly, one-hour primetime series for The History Channel that debuted in Fall 2006. A native of East Los Angeles, Dr. Guillen earned his B.S. from UCLA and his Ph.D. in physics, mathematics and astronomy from Cornell University. For eight years thereafter, he distinguished himself as an award-winning physics instructor at Harvard University. He has received Honorary Doctorates from the University of Maryland and Pepperdine University. A coveted public speaker, he is a member of the National Association of Science Writers and, in 2000, was elected to the renowned Explorers Club, a century-old professional society. Dr. Michael Guillen is president of Spectacular Science Productions Inc., and Filmanthropy Media Incorporated, as well as chairman and president of Philanthropy Project. He lives in Nashville with his wife, son, horse Jim Dandy, donkeys Violet and Seymour and sheep Sir Barton and Lady Guinevere.

Dave Donaldson has invested his life in inspiring, equipping and resourcing leaders in more than 100 countries to bring aid and opportunity to tens of millions of needy and under-resourced people. In 2016 Dave launched CityServe International (CSI) to train and resource local churches and non-profits to help people move from dependency to sustainability. CSI is helping communities effectively address systemic poverty, addictions, foster care, job readiness and other areas of need in America. As part of the “Neighborhood to Nations” campaign Dave and the CSI team are also partnering with the Assembly of God SoCal Network and World Vision to aid refugees in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan. His newest book co-authored with Wendell Vinson is CityServe: Your Church-based Guide to Compassion includes forty leading experts in community-based and global compassion. Dave earned his BA from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri and his Master’s Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, with a focus on “Developing and Implementing Social Programs in a Cross-cultural Environment.” He and his wife Kristy reside in Orange County, California and have four adult children.
