Jonathan M. Saenz, Esq., is the President of Texas Values, a nonprofit group dedicated to preserving and advancing a culture of family values in the state of Texas. Prior to leading Texas Values, Jonathan headed the Liberty Institute offices at the Texas Capitol in Austin where he served as Director of Legislative Affairs and Attorney for Liberty Institute. He frequently presents research, analysis, and testimony before the Texas Legislature, State Board of Education, and other government entities on various issues affecting faith, family, and freedom. Jonathan believes in religious liberty, sanctity of human life, family values, and constitutional rights and has been involved in numerous court cases, including cases before the Texas Supreme Court and the United State Supreme Court. Mr. Saenz helped lead the State Board Education battle to prevent censorship in the Science classroom and protect strong Social Studies & History teaching. He was instrumental in the passage of Texas laws to protect religious liberty, Bible Curriculum in Public Schools, "Under God" in the Texas pledge, the Sonogram Bill, and many others. He has help lead efforts to defend against attacks on parental rights, marriage, the elected State Board of Education, and abstinence sex education in the state of Texas. Jonathan has been featured in local, national and international media such as Fox News, CNN, USA Radio, Austin-American Statesman, Dallas Morning News, and Houston Chronicle among many others and is a sought after speaker for important events. Mr. Saenz received his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center where he was honored as a Public Interest Law Fellow. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Jonathan is a native Texan (5th generation) who grew up in Houston, Texas and is a proud American. He and his family live in Buda and are members of Santa Cruz Catholic Church.

Shapri D. LoMaglio leads the CCCU’s response to legislative, legal, and regulatory matters on behalf of its more than 180 institutions of Christ-centered higher education. She advocates on their behalf in Washington, D.C. on a wide range of policy issues rooted in their shared faith. This includes ensuring access to higher education for all persons regardless of their economic status or background, stewarding the environment, protecting the most vulnerable members of society, and promoting and preserving the principles of religious freedom that allow CCCU institutions to flourish not in spite of their faith, but because of it. LoMaglio also leads the CCCU’s external relations team, making the case for Christian higher education’s valuable contributions to society and pursuit of faith and intellect for the common good. She writes and speaks on issues of religious liberty, higher education, and the interplay between faith, politics, and culture. LoMaglio is a graduate of CCCU member institution Gordon College (Wenham, Mass.) and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona (Tucson). She is licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona. Prior to the CCCU, she served as a Legal Fellow in the United States Senate. Shapri volunteers by serving on a variety of non-profit boards and mentoring youth through her church.

Wayne Pederson began his radio career in 1967 as announcer on KTIS in Minneapolis. He was a long-time afternoon drive host, as well as producer of a number of shows on SkyLight Network. He became Manager of KTIS in 1980 and was promoted to Executive Vice President for Media at University of Northwestern in St. Paul in 1997. Wayne currently serves as Executive Liaison for Far East Broadcasting and, consultant, media spokesperson, and public speaker for several international ministries. . Wayne serves on the board of Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability and National Religious Broadcasters in Washington, DC, The Joshua Fund in Israel, Fellowship for World Evangelization in Liechtenstein, and Alliance for the Unreached. Wayne and his wife, Willi, reside in Colorado Springs, CO. Wayne has two daughters and 9 grandchildren in Wyoming and Minnesota.
