Chaplain Bill Goodrich is founder of God Cares Ministry, a ministry dedicated to training and equipping Christians to share God’s love and word in nursing homes. Since 1994, God Cares has helped thousands of Christians minister to over 75,000 nursing home residents. Through one-to-one visits and group services, residents are befriended and helped to find hope and peace in Jesus. Bill has personally served as a nursing home missionary for 35 years, helping countless numbers of residents take Jesus’ hand. Bill holds a Master’s Degree in Ministry and has led many seminars across the nation, training Christians for this specialized mission field. He has published several books and other resource materials to equip volunteers for effective nursing home ministry. Bill resides in northern Ohio with his wife, Cathy. Together they share the vision to help every church adopt a senior adult care home to help residents grow closer to Jesus.
