Paul Copan (Ph.D. Philosophy, Marquette University) is the Pledger Family Chair of Philosophy and Ethics at Palm Beach Atlantic University, West Palm Beach, Florida. For six years, he served as president of the Evangelical Philosophical Society. He is author or editor of thirty-five books, including works such as The Routledge Companion to Philosophy of Religion, The Naturalness of Theistic Belief, Creation out of Nothing, Philosophy of Religion: Classic and Contemporary Issues, A Little Book for New Philosophers, and The Kalām Cosmological Argument (a two-volume anthology). He has also contributed essays to over thirty books, both scholarly and popular, and he has authored a number of articles in professional journals. In 2017, he was a Visiting Scholar at Oxford University. Paul and his wife, Jacqueline, have six children, and they reside in West Palm Beach, Florida. In addition to contributing essays to several books, he has written many articles in professional journals. He is the President of the Evangelical Philosophical Society. He and his wife Jacqueline live with their five children in the West Palm Beach area.

Dr. Melissa Cain Travis earned a PhD in Humanities with a Philosophy concentration from Faulkner University's Great Books program, where her dissertation research focused on the natural theology of Johannes Kepler and its relevance to the contemporary science and faith conversation. Dr. Travis also holds a Master of Arts in Science and Religion from Biola University and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Campbell University. She teaches a graduate course in scientific apologetics at Colorado Christian University’s Lee Strobel Center and is in the process of launching a Great Books honors college extension campus for Southeastern University in her hometown of The Woodlands, Texas. Dr. Travis is the author of Science and the Mind of the Maker: What the Conversation Between Faith and Science Reveals About God and a chapter of The Story of the Cosmos: How the Heavens Declare the Glory of God. She is a member of the Contributing Writers team at Christian Research Journal and The Worldview Bulletin. Her ministry passion is helping Christ- followers discover the life of the mind. To that end, she serves as President of the Society for Women of Letters, an organization that brings together both professional scholars and laypersons for collaborative intellectual formation and edifying community. She and her husband Jonathan have been married for 24 years and have two sons.
