Chip Ingram is the senior pastor of Venture Christian Church near San Jose, Calif., and the founder of Living on the Edge, a discipleship ministry and syndicated radio program that reaches more than one million people weekly. He is the former president of Walk Thru the Bible, and the author of thirteen books, including Culture Shock. He is passionate about helping Christians really live like Christians. He is a best-selling, gold-Illuminations, and gold-medallion winning writer with more than 35 books in print and approximately 5 million copies in circulation in multiple languages. He has appeared on numerous television and radio shows and speaks widely at churches, conferences, schools and corporate events. Rob was also a homemaker and a caregiver for his late wife of 43 years, Katrina, who battled multiple sclerosis and passed away in November of 2019. He and Katrina have three daughters and sixteen grandchildren. In 2014, Rob was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from his alma mater, Columbia International University.
