For generations, families in our country have fallen victim to the American Dream: desiring only the freedom to do whatever we want, whenever we want, while working hard to acquire as much stuff as possible. But even those blessed with material wealth have found themselves spiritually impoverished—wandering in a desert devoid of true meaning with a thirst that never seems to go away. In 2009, Bill and Danielle Ford found themselves in this very situation.
