Casa del Lago (The Lake House) was founded in 2014 by a core group who wanted to serve the Hispanic families living in this community. This core group cared deeply for the community and wanted to continue the efforts that Cristo Rey Presbyterian Church had begun to reach into this community with quality faith-based educational programming, counseling, and legal assistance.

For example, our morning program called Conversations and Caritas integrates English as a second language classes and early childhood education so that parents can improve their English skills while their children prepare for elementary school.

In the evening, Conversations and Kids Club, offers similar integrated programming for families of elementary aged children. Spanish language counseling services are also available for the children and families that we serve.
