Dr. Rodney Haire has a bachelor's degree in business administration, a master's degree in counseling, and a doctorate in Christian education. He started building Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas in 1983 at the age of thirty-eight. He retired in 2017 after serving as Head of School and Chairman of the Board for thirty-four years. He is semi-retired and lives with his wife, Judy, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. They have been married for sixty years. Today he gives lectures and consults with Christian schools and their Board of Trustees. He is next scheduled to speak to one hundred schools at a Christian school conference in London, England in November.
