Lorne has called Texas home since 2007 after pursuing a singer/songwriter career in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the President and Director of BOOK LAW FIRM, a boutique estate planning and probate firm in Carrollton, Texas. Lorne is a regular presenter on the estate planning and elder care circuit in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. For his efforts, Lorne has been recognized with the prestigious “Rising Star” award by Texas SuperLawyers for 2019, 2020, and 2021. Lorne also serves as Vice-President of ServingHIM - Healthcare International Ministries, headquartered in Plano, Texas. Lorne is married to his beautiful wife, Kym. Together they are the proud parents of Roman(9), Shepherd (7), Judah (5), and Chapel (1). The Books are active members of Prestonwood Baptist Church where Lorne serves as a deacon, choir member, and teacher.
