Micah Wilder

Founder — Adam's Road

Micah Wilder is a founder of Adam’s Road, a music and testimony ministry which shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ across North America. Micah recounts his spiritual journey in his first book, Passport to Heaven: The True Story of a Zealous Mormon Missionary Who Discovers the Jesus He Never Knew (Harvest House, June 2021). Micah was raised in a devout Mormon family, with a desire for an intimate relationship with God. After Micah graduated from high school, he attended BYU for a semester and prepared for what he believed would be the most important two years of his life: his full-time LDS mission. Four months into his mission, Micah confronted a Baptist minister with the intent of converting him to Mormonism. In response, the pastor lovingly shared the Biblical Gospel. He challenged Micah to read the Bible as a child, removing preconceived notions and allowing God’s Word to speak truth through the Holy Spirit. God gradually opened Micah's eyes to the Gospel and he came to know the grace and love of Jesus Christ in a personal and intimate way. He underwent a life changing transformation and was born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a Mormon missionary. Micah immediately began ministering the Gospel to his close friends and family, challenging them—as he had been challenged—to read the Bible like a child. His high school girlfriend, Alicia, was born again. She and Micah eloped just days after Micah’s mission ended. Over time, many of Micah’s loved ones came to knowledge of the truth including his older brother Matt, younger sister Katie, best missionary friend Joseph, and eventually his mother and father. In 2006, Micah co-founded Adam’s Road, a ministry dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song and testimony. Today Adam’s Road has ministered in more than 1,000 churches across North America, distributing their music and resources at no charge. Micah is also an owner/operator of the Historic Edgewater Hotel in Winter Garden, Florida. The hotel operates as a “tent-making” ministry for Adam’s Road, providing the personal living expenses for the majority of the ministry members. Micah praises God for the unmerited favor that has been poured upon him in Jesus Christ. He has dedicated his life to lovingly sharing the Good News with the world.
