E. Calvin Beisner, Ph.D., is Founder and National Spokesman of The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation, a network of evangelical scientists, economics, philosophers, and theologians committed to educating the public and policymakers about Biblical earth stewardship, economic development for the poor, and the gospel of Jesus Christ, together with the worldview, theology, and ethics that come with it. A former professor of historical theology and social ethics at Knox Theological Seminary and of interdisciplinary studies at Covenant College, he is the author of nearly 20 books, editor of over 30, and contributor to over 30, as well as author of hundreds of articles, technical and popular.
