A first-time author, John Ringenberg is retired from 42 years in newspaper management. His book, Illuminated: Help for Your Thought Life by Understanding How You Can Think, is an elaboration of chapter 3 of Miracles by CS Lewis. John earned a B.A. from the University of Illinois in 1975. He is a member of The Chapel, Sandusky/Norwalk/Port Clinton Ohio. He has been a member of the Gideons for 18 years. He resides in Monroeville, Ohio with Shelley, his wife of 46 years. They are the parents of five adult sons and four daughters-in-law, and have 12 beautiful grandchildren. He is a Christ Follower and avid reader of CS Lewis.
