Jessica Voyce Lewis is an attorney in Dallas County, running for the 14th Judicial District Court of Texas. Jessica describes herself as a Christ-follower, wife, mother, conservative, and advocate for Dallas communities. Born and raised in Texas, Jessica has lived in Dallas since 2006, where she attended SMU’s Dedman School of Law. Jessica began her legal career at Baker Botts L.L.P., working on complex bankruptcy and litigation matters for clients in various businesses and industries, while also giving her time in numerous legal and non-legal volunteer capacities. In 2014, Jessica transitioned full-time to a Dallas-based non-profit representing residents of high-crime neighborhoods against owners of problem properties in civil litigation and probate-related matters. In this role, Jessica led teams of volunteer lawyers and community advocates to support those clients’ efforts to bring peace to their streets. In 2016, she returned to private practice at the bankruptcy and structuring firm, Ross & Smith, PC. Throughout her career, Jessica has supported and volunteered with dozens of organizations with focus areas ranging from care for the homeless to anti-trafficking. Her philosophy is that no matter your background, resources, or sphere of influence, you should be seen as of value and equal before the law. She and her husband Jordan live in Dallas witht their children and pets.
