Prior to becoming President & CEO of The Hope Center, Scott served as the President of Neltex Sports, a growing company that owns and operates various sports and entertainment-related properties. Before Neltex Sports, Scott served as longtime President of the Frisco RoughRiders (Double A – Texas Rangers), one of the most successful operations in Minor League Baseball. Scott earned his MBA at Northwestern’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management, where he quadruple majored. He also has a History degree from Texas A&M University. For five years he helped run a historic Christian family resort, CAMP-of-the-WOODS, in Upstate New York. While there he created the LIFT Program, a discipleship and leadership development ministry aimed at gap year students. Scott started his career at the Dallas Mavericks where he worked in the sales department for two years. Scott and his wife Amy have been married for 23 years and have four children: Autumn (19), Mason (17), Whitney (15) and Austin (10). He and his family are members of Trinity Presbyterian Church (PCA).
