John has lived directly in China for 19 years and has been involved in campus or community ministry directly there for more than 25 years as a campus minister, campus director, a regional director, national theology director and city family ministry director in that period. His ministry began full time in February of 1983, was invited to join as one of the 250 China representatives at the 2010 World Evangelism Congress as a long-time China ministry worker and left China as a full time gospel minister in 2012.
He did his master of theology in Chinese at Chinese Evangelical Seminary and a 2nd masters in business at the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and used those degrees to teach English, Business and Bible/Theology classes to both University Students and full time ministers of the gospel.
