In order of importance, Rebecca Ashbrook Carrell is a joyful Jesus follower, a wife to Mike, mother to Caitlyn and Nick, author, conference speaker, and morning radio co-host on 90.9 KCBI. She has authored two books: Holy Jellybeans: Finding God Through Everyday Things and Holy Hiking Boots: When God Makes the Ordinary Extraordinary. In 2016 Rebecca founded HeartStrong Faith, a women’s ministry branch of the KCBI radio network designed to encourage and equip women to encounter the living Christ through the faithful study of his word, the Bible. Rebecca speaks openly about her struggles with severe, clinical, generalized anxiety, and how, by God’s grace, she celebrates ten years of sobriety this year. Rebecca lives in Flower Mound, TX, serves as a member of The Village Church, and is currently working toward her Master’s in Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary.
