Brent McDougal is a pastor, author and leader, currently serving as the Senior Pastor of Cliff Temple Baptist Church in Dallas. He holds degrees from Emory University (BA in Political Science and Religion), Beeson Divinity School of Samford University (MDiv) and the University of Alabama (PhD in Political Science). He has written extensive articles on the interaction of faith, politics, race and culture through such outlets as EthicsDaily.com and the Advocate Magazine. Brent serves on a variety of local boards such as the Sammons Cancer Center of Baylor Medical Center. His recent book Faith, Hope and Politics seeks to inspire the next generation to community-changing faith engagement in the public square. He’s married to Jennifer, a neonatal nurse, and they have two children, Christopher and Emily.
