Eric Metaxas is the author of the New York Times #1 Bestseller, Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy. Named “Book of the Year” by the ECPA, Bonhoeffer also won the 2011 John C. Pollock Award for Biography awarded by Beeson Divinity School and a 2011 Christopher Award in the Non-fiction category. Bonhoeffer has sold more than 600,000 units and has been translated into 15 languages. It is currently being made into an independent feature film starring Jackie Gleason and Art Carney. Metaxas was the keynote speaker at the 2012 National Prayer Breakfast in Washington DC. Along with his colleague John Stonestreet, Metaxas is the voice of BreakPoint, a radio commentary that is broadcast on 1,400 radio outlets with an audience of eight million. In 2011, Metaxas was the 17th recipient of the Canterbury Medal awarded by the Becket Fund for Religious Freedom. In September 2013, Eric and his wife Susanne were jointly awarded the Human Life Review’s “Great Defender of Life Award.” In a decidedly eclectic career, Eric Metaxas has written for VeggieTales, Chuck Colson, and the New York Times, three things not ordinarily found in the same sentence. He is a best-selling author whose biographies, children’s books, and works of popular apologetics have been translated into 18 languages. Eric Metaxas was born in New York City in 1963. He grew up in Danbury, Connecticut, attending the public schools there, and graduated from Yale University.

J. Nick Pitts serves as the Executive Director of the Institute for Global Engagement at Dallas Baptist University. Previous to this he held the position of Director for Cultural Engagement at Denison Forum on Truth and Culture. He came to the Denison Forum in 2014. He contributed to the Forum in the areas of geopolitics and popular culture, as well as serving as the editor of the Daily Briefing. Nick earned his PhD from Dallas Baptist University. He co-hosts the Point of View radio talk show each Wednesday and frequently appears on Glenn Beck's TV show Think Tank. His op-eds have been published by Huffington Post, Religion News Service, Townhall.com, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and The Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He received a bachelor’s degree in 2007 from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, and a master’s degree in 2009 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dr. Brent Taylor is the Pastor of First Baptist Church Carrollton and Church at the Fields, international speaker, professor of American history, and corporate communicator.
